NEW YORK CITY!!

So for our third anniversary, I decided to surprise Jason with a trp to New York. I had planned the trip months in advance and had everything arranged--time off work, boarding the dog, etc. Jason didn't even get to find out until the day before we left! He was SOOOOO surpised and SOOO excited!!

I arranged for us to stay just a few blocks from Times Square at the Hampton Inn. It was in the perfect location as it was also within walking distance to Central Park and in the Theater District. As soon as we got to our hotel we walked to Central Park. As we were getting ready to leave the park it started pouring rain! By the time we got back to our hotel, we were both soaking wet from head to toe!! It was definetly a night I wouldn't forget.

The next couple of days we expolored almost the whole city from 5th avenue shops, the Museum of Modern Art, Rockefellar Center, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, World Trade Center, New York Stock Exchange, Little Italy, Serendipity, Museum of Natural History, Metropalitian Museum of Art, Chinatown, Empire State Building, and a few trips to Central Park. I don't think I have ever walked so far in my entire lifetime!!

For our anniversary my parents got us tickets to Wicked, the musical. It was the most amazing show!! I highly recommend it to everyone!! We also went and saw Rent. They are only in show for another 2 months. I was also a good show. No trip to New York is complete without a show or two...

For our anniversary dinner we ate at Casa Bella in Little Italy. It has to be my favorite meal EVER! I don't know if it was cause we were in New York City, the food, or the setting. Their sangaria was the best and most fresh that I have ever had!! After dinner we did some bargaining in Chinatown and than spent the rest of the night in Times Square. Congrats on three years honey---I LOVE YOU!!

Our flight home didn't leave until the following evening so we got one more afternoon in New York City. We went to St. Patrick's cathedral, back t0 Central Park again (and even saw a Taxi get pulled over), and eat some good food again! Neither one of us wanted to go home, but it was time to face the real world again.
