A newborn's conversation with God

I found this poem online and of course made me cry...Good cry though

A Newborn's Conversation with God

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?"
God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you." The child further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy."
God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy." Again the small child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?" God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak."
"And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?" God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray."
"Who will protect me?" God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life." "But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore." God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.."
At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name."
God said, You will simply call her, "Mom."

love the camera

I have been playing around with our new camera and who else to take pictures of but my adorable neices...Elle
Tori

Elle
Jamie and Tori recently had their test for their yellow belt for karate. They both passed and Tori was great and had so much fun! Here is Jamie with his two girls afterwards.

As far as me and this baby, things are progressing along nicely. I had my 16 week check up last week and am measuring at 18.5 weeks. Hopefully it's just extra fluid....And even better news they are letting us find out on my birthday (July 30th) whether we are having a little girl or a little boy! It's only a few days before I am at the 20 week mark so the doctor said I will have to come in for an extra visit...but I totally think it's worth it to find out on my birthday! I'll post some belly pics soon...

pictures from Disneyland

I know how all of you have been anxiously awaiting our photos from Disneyland. Well Jason finally made it home after three weeks in Nebraska and I needed him to change the photos to a jpeg format so I could download them to our blog. We both LOVE our new camera...now I just need to figure out all the options/buttons on it and how to use it. Enjoy!

2 of my favorites--My hubby and Mickey

What came in the mail?

These cars were later in the Pixar parade. They actually run and have a motor in them! Pretty authentic we thought

No explanation needed!

All the 3-D glasses for the new Toy Story ride at California Adventures--by far my favorite ride

Another photo of my sexy hubby-who was usually the photographer

I didn't think I would get that wet on Splash Mountain--I guessed wrong-I was soaked!!

The famous Matterhorn as the sunset in California

Have I said I love this camera?!

Jason on his favorite ride-Astro Blasters. We rode it so many times I lost count. Finally by the end of our trip he admitted that the new Toy Story ride was cooler :)

Good bye Disneyland!! We had a great time and are exciting to bring our kids back one day!
